Redwing Connect is the alumni network of Benet Academy. This policy explains what information we handle and why. We built this platform for our own community, not to monetize data — we don't sell or rent personal information to anyone, ever.
Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account with your email, Apple, or Google, we receive your name and email address (and, from Google, your profile photo). If you use Apple's Hide My Email, we only see the relay address Apple gives us.
Directory information. Alumni career profiles (name, education, employment history, location, skills) are compiled from publicly available professional listings. You can claim, edit, or update your listing after signing in.
Profile edits. Anything you add to your own profile — headline, bio, contact preferences, photo.
Messages. Messages you send to other members are stored so your conversations work across devices.
Usage analytics. We record which pages and features are used (for example, page views, searches, and messages sent — not message content), along with basic device type and approximate country, so we can see what members find useful and keep the service running well. We don't use advertising trackers.

Safety monitoring — read this part
Joining Redwing Connect opts you in to messaging (you can turn it off anytime in Settings). To keep the network safe, every message is automatically screened by moderation software for harassment, sexual content, scams, and other abuse, and designated Benet Academy administrators can read conversations, along with reports and blocks, to investigate problems and enforce our Terms. Accounts that violate our rules can be suspended. Please treat messages on Redwing Connect as visible to administrators.
Services we rely on
We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run the platform, each of which processes data only on our behalf: Supabase (database and authentication), Apple and Google (sign-in), OpenAI and Google Perspective (automated message screening), Anthropic (automated screening and profile summaries), Resend (invitation and notification email delivery), and Cloudflare (hosting and network security).
Your choices and rights
Messaging. Turn messaging off anytime in Settings → Messaging.
Email notifications. Choose whether we email you about new messages in Settings → Notifications.
Delete your account anytime from Settings → Account → Delete my account. This permanently removes your account, sign-in, and messages.
Update your listing. Edit your profile anytime, or contact us to remove your directory listing entirely.
Block members. Any member can block any other member; blocking severs contact in both directions.
